Radox Fresh & Fruity Berry Burst Shower Cream Review

I love the fruity shower gels Radox have to offer and so when I first tried out ‘Radox Fresh & Fruity Berry Burst Shower Cream’, I instantly fell in love with it.

I love the hot pink colour of this bottle; it’s so cute! It will definelty brighten up your bathroom and add some colour to your life in these rainy months.

For me, berries have a summer feeling and when I smell this lovely shower cream, I am instantly reminded of hot, summer days (which is a total pick-me-up with this not so hot weather outside). The shower cream is made from milk and berries to create a gorgeous, fruity fragrance. And because this is a cream, the liquid is thick which will ensure a little goes a long way. The liquid itself is a soft, silky smooth cream which will leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised after use. Cream based shower products are great for dry skin (or if you just want to feel soft and fresh) as it helps keep skin moisturised.

This Radox shower cream has a soft and subtle berry fragrance that is not too overpowering but instead will give your skin a sophisticated girly scent after use. It is such a gorgeous smell that you will want to use it every time you shower.

This shower cream comes in a 250ml bottle and is sure to last for many showers. You can also get it for around £1 – £2 (depending where you look).

Radox ‘Eastern Spirit’ Shower Gel Review

I am all for a good, fruity shower gel so I was definitely in for a pleasant surprise when I decided to use Radox ‘Eastern Sprit’ shower gel.

Radox ‘Eastern Sprit’ shower gel has a gorgeous flowery and fruity scent to it, with a strong but sweet orange smell to give it that perfect, fruity fragrance. This is an extremely refreshing shower gel and will ensure you are smelling gorgeous after a long, relaxing shower. The gel has a thick, smooth texture that keeps skin feeling soft and hydrated. The gel also works well as a moisturiser, leaving skin feeling soft after use.

The gel is a orange/coral colour that emphasises the orange blossom scent in the shower gel. This has a real tropical feel to it and is great for people who are fond of the fruitier smelling shower gels.

The shower gel contains natural ingredients and in this case Radox has opted for lotus flowers and orange blossoms to perfect that fruity, flowery scent.

Vera Wang ‘Be Jeweled’ Perfume Review

As you guys know, I recently wrote a blog post for Marc Jacob ‘Pink Honey’ but found that it was a very expensive perfume and therefore I didn’t want to use it all in one go. I wanted to keep that particular perfume for special occasions and find an every day perfume in the mean time. And for Christmas, my mum bought me this lovely Vera Wang ‘Be Jeweled’ perfume that I now use from a day-to-day basis.

Firstly, lets discuss the design of the bottle. As we all know, the bottle is nearly as important as the perfume and here Vera Wang has stuck to the ‘jeweled’ theme by sticking jewels all around the bottle top. The bottle itself is in the design of a diamond and although it is not too complicated or fancy, it does have an elegant, feminine feel to it. I like the simplicity of the design and it looks cute left out on my desk. And we all know us girls are attracted to the shinier stuff in life and this is definitely shiny.

This has a really girly, feminine smell to it. It has a sweet, fruity fragrance and is not too overpowering so it can be worn on an every day basis (just like I was looking for). This is a flirtatious fragrance which will soon become your favourate perfume. The purfume includes scents of red current, pomegranate and champagne to create a really beautiful light, girly fragrance.

This perfume is best suited for women in their teens and 20’s and is best for daytime use. The perfume costs £36.00 – £55.00 depending on the size of the bottle. I have a 50ml bottle although larger bottles are available to buy.

Yankee Candle ‘Pink Dragon Fruit’ Review

I love this beautiful ‘Pink Dragon Fruit’ Yankee Candle. It is a lovely, girly pink colour that will add a bit of femininity to your bedroom.

This is one of the most girlish Yankee candle’s I have bought and reviewed so far; it has a beautiful sweet scent to it with some really strong smells of tropical fruit that will uplift any room. This candle has a very unique fragrance and has a gorgeous sweet fruity smell. It is great for putting your feet up and relaxing.

I have a small jar with the retail price set at £7.99. This candle is said to burn between 24 – 40 hours which I find is great and makes you not feel so guilty for spending so much on a candle.

I think all the girly girls out there will really love this ‘Pink Dragon Fruit’ candle. Definitely one of my favourites!

Yankee Candle ‘Paradise Spice’ Review

Paradise Spice? Well, that name sounds familiar doesn’t it…

I am back with another brilliant Yankee Candle review. This time I will be talking about the ‘Paradise Spice’ candle. For me that name suggests strong summer smells  and of course spices. The name lives up to my expectations and it delivers some gorgeous spicy scents to my nostrils. This candle has scents of banana and cinnamon with hints of vanilla that really will make you think you are living in paradise. This candle has the summer smells of banana and vanilla and the spicy scents of cinnamon  and clove. For me, this candle has a stronger smell of spice rather than summer fruits so for those who love spicy scents and fragrances, this is the candle for you.

‘Paradise Spice’ is a great summer fragrance although that doesn’t mean you have to wait until then to use it. Use it now to add some summer in to your cold, gloomy winter. It has a lovely warm scent to it that is great for settling down in front of the TV or with a good book before bed (although don’t forget to blow your candle out before you fall asleep).

This candle is a clean light cream colour that is great for brightening up your room and giving it that welcoming look. The people behind ‘Yankee Candle’ are yet to disappoint me! I have not bought a candle I do not like from them yet and this one is no different.

Yankee Candle ‘Berrylicious’ Review

‘Berrylicious’ is yet another gorgeous scented Yankee candle I have found and fell in love with. I love the sweet, ripe fragrance of the blueberries, with the soft, suble hint of vanilla. Although sweet, this Yankee candle is not too sickly which I find can occur too many times when it comes to sweet scented candles.

I am not usually a big fan of sweet candles and they can sometimes make me feel a little woozy with all the strong, powerful fragrances mixed together but ‘Berrylicious’ has just the right amount of sweetness without making me go dizzy from the fumes.

This candle is not particularly strong, although you will still be able to notice the fragrance in the room when you light this candle so no need to worry. I find the smell very relaxing and it brings a bright, uplifting mood to the room.

The wax is a black/dark blue colour that represents the blueberries in this ‘Berrylicious’ candle. This is great for people who love fruity, sweet smells.

After a long day at work or a jog to the shops, we can sometimes begin to feel sticky and disgusting. We can find ourselves searching for a long-lasting deodorant that covers up bad smells and prevents us from sweating for hours at a time. Well, here is your answer.

Sure Compressed Radiant 48hr Anti-Perspirant Deodorant is a fast-acting, long-lasting deodorant that lasts up to 48 hours at a time. This means that the deodorant can be applied less frequently which will initially means the deodorant will last longer before you run out.

I have the 75ml bottle that costs £2.19 but larger 125ml bottles can be purchased for just £3.29. The smaller 75ml bottles are perfect for popping in your bag however so you can stay fresh on the go. This is a spray deodorant which is great for quickly spraying on and will not leave white deodorant marks that can be so frustrating with spray deodorants.

The bottle is small and cute, which does not only make it easy to carry around or pop in your hand luggage when travelling but it also makes the bottle easy to grip as it is not bulky or large to hold. The hand easily grips around the bottle comfortably without any discomfort. It also comes in a lovely, purple bottle which will not look out of place left out on your desk.

This ‘Radiant’ Sure fragrance has a gorgeous fruity scent with hints of violet and apple. It has a lovely sweet smell to it and is strong enough to ensure you smell fresh throughout the day without being too powerful for those around you. This is a brilliant, girly fragrance that will make you not only smell great but feel great too. The best thing is, like a lot of deodorants out there this has a subtle girly scent without being too childish or sweet meaning that women of all ages can wear this.

The spray contains antiperspirant protection which will prevent you sweating when wearing this deodorant and therefore you will feel fresher for longer. It is also an alcohol free deodorant meaning the spray should not upset or irritate your skin.

Marc Jacobs ‘Pink Honey’ Eau De Parfum Review

Grab yourself the limited edition fragrance, ‘Pink Honey’ by Marc Jacobs whilst you still have the chance.

I have always been a fan of the perfume Marc Jacobs has to offer and was delighted when I received this particular perfume as a birthday gift back in August for my 21st. Now this is a little more expensive than the average perfume, with the retail price set at £50 per bottle, which is why I save this perfume for special occasions rather than an every day fragrance. The design of the bottle is very cute and feminine, coming in a lovely pale pink colour with two cute objects that remind me of butterflies attached to the bottle to reinforce us of the honey fragrance. The bottle also matches other Marc Jacobs fragrances, the original ‘Honey’ and ‘Dot’, which come in similar bottles but in a different colour. What I like most about the design of the bottle however is, if you’re like me and you often leave things out rather than find a draw to put things in, it will not make your desk look untidy and cluttered but in fact the bottle can double up as a feminine ornament to brighten up your room.

Now, lets move on to the scent of this particular perfume. So, this is in fact the original ‘Honey’ fragrance but this time in a gorgeous pink bottle. So, why did they change the bottle for the perfume? Well, Marc Jacobs released this perfume in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month back in  October. ‘Pink Honey’ is dashed with the right amount of sweetness and femininity and includes scents of pear, fruit, honey, vanilla and smooth woods. Perfect for girls who are fans of the fruity, more feminine smells. And best of all, the scent lasts for hours so you won’t have to reapply as often as possibly you would with cheaper priced perfume.
